Oh Francky, that was a very long journey...

Anyway I'm glad you got it and you like it. Better late than never.

Last days I've got beautiful cards from Franky (a Christmas one depicting a teddy bear) and from maki_sindja (a big card with a picture of St. Sava Churn in Belgrade).

Thank you both a bunch!

I've been thinking about quitting myself from the postcard exchange list. I got so many cards, and my available time barely allows me replying them back. I wish I could at least reply the people who already sent me cards, and dispatch a mate-tea box to Francky...

Hmm... I'm not sure. It seems to me that Lilian takes the dry green mate, and I've been thinking about sending you the toasted herb...

Everything you'll do will be perfect, don't worry, I was just joking! a one who's seen Lilian at work may feel like tasting her mate! Do you Brasilians drink it in a mate bombilla like Argentinians do?

Francky,

The bombilla is very popular in Southern Brazilian states that border Argentina and Uruguay. Here where I live (São Paulo State) that isn't the case (I use to take the mate in a porcelain cup, for example), but it isn't uncommon to see people using the bombilla, specially if one is of Southern origin.

I'd be glad to have your mate as well as Lilian's (maybe you can do a container for me?)
As I realized how easy, thanks to your work, posting the admin's messages can be now for me.
Thanks a lot for your work Goncy, I really appreciate! (so that maybe the toasted herb works fine as well! ) I saw some pics from mate bombillas, and some are real artwork, but the prices must be awesome as well, so that I'll probably use my plain ol'mug to enjoy it!

Humm...I think it's time for you, Francky, to know the difference between Goncin's mate and mine!

That "bombilla" you saw is used by us, people from Argentina, Uruguay, and south of Brazil.
Here, in São Paulo, what they drink is tea brewed and served in mugs and with SUGAR! Urggg!
Our mate (or 'chimarrão' as called here) is served with a metal straw (bombilla) from a hollow calabash gourd. It's usually shared, a social activity. And BITTER!

I see Chantal.

Hm ..I must also ask about a posted card.
Francky, did you ever received a Christmas-card from me? It's strange because you are ALWAYS telling people when it has arrived.

Hello Pia! Maybe I forgot, but I had a look on my desk (I know I'm a bit messy moreover) and apart from the little frog you sent me for my last birthday, and another card dated from 07/10/19 I couldn't find any wishing me a merry christmas, not any other postcard from you is visible at the moment...I remember I received an electronic one, or was it a GIF one?

I don't think it's you that are "messy", it seems to be the Post Office Administration.

Thanks for telling Franck
