Oh my gosh, goncin you are like some 5000 kms apart from Thata!!! Next Tuesday I'll be heading to Istria in Croatia, I'll drive, there'll be two fellows and the roads.

Well, it's some 2000 kms off Madrid, and everyone around me is really shocked at this hazardous and long journey, I'll go across five different countries with at least six different languages, and yet I'll go less than half the distance that parts both of you!!!

Me and my wife plan travelling somewhen in future to know any of the Northeastern Brazilian beaches - the best ones in our country.

This can be maybe Fortaleza, and maybe my first airplane trip.

BTW, have a good journey, guilon. You're lucky, because you can travel 2000km by car in Europe. Crossing such a distance in Brazil by car is very risky, because the roads are very bad - only trucks still dare to go that much.

Story of my buying Postcards
Today I went to a nearby postoffice, but found no postcards, since the officer there told me that postcards could only be issued on occasion of national festivals. So I left that post office and rode my mini-bicycle to traverse several blocks trying to find a stationer. On the way, I found another post office, there I saw some postcards, but they were very modern. When I asked the officer whether there are some traditional ones, the officer said no. So I bought the only several kinds for a number:
Sport Series: 21 cards composed of China Women Football Team (would you like?)
One Card of landscape
six cards of cartoon Winnie the Pooh

only these three kinds, and I will send you soon, This reminds me, because in my memory, postcards are very traditional and cultural, especially when I was still a student, I usually found very artistic postcards in school outlets. But since now I couldn't find any of that kind, I will send you just this. And from now on, I wil keep a keen eye on postcards, I will find all kinds of postcards in where I live, for example, Shanghai, to send you.

Something is changing very fast, the postcards I bought today are all in bilingual, Chinese-English, or purely English!!!!

Just wordless to this phenomenon.

That's globalization, pluiepoco! It seems that no one can hide from it. It would be nice to receive a postcard from you, whatever is the picture on it - don't worry about it.

Porfyhr, I always heard that life cost in Sweden is pretty high, but don't they save even mail services? Anyway, we can send you postcards, or, if you prefer, we can wait until December to deal only with Christmas postcards about you. Just a question: are you a (medical) doctor, or do you just work with medical translations?

The post offices only care about stamp "duty", Can I say so? I guess even if you post a card of photo stamped, they also deliver.

I would like to make DIY, if I have machines.

I find the postcards are too short to write something on.

OK, I will send you some. I have never sent some foods by mail or courier system. If you want to eat fresh ones, don't forget to walk to chinatown in amsterdam. But I believe, mooncakes made in amsterdam must be less delicious than the ones made in China!
