I noticed that another person has already asked it in the forum (three years ago!!) and no ever answered him, so I have to ask it again. What does it mean? And why aren't basic things like that explained anywhere on this site?

Thank you.

It means that the request is not active for translation yet

* sometimes the requester lack points, so the request will be in stand-by until he/she has earned some.

* An expert (or admin) can also put a request in sb if something is unclear and things needs to be checked before a member translate it !

* Doubble account

Can't remember more scenarios/explanations, hope it helps : )

Yes, that makes sense.

Apparently, my request got put on standby because it's a "big request (cost greater than 500)". I have no idea what the standby in supposed to accomplish in this case, but well, I guess they know best.

Well, I'll just have to hope they get it sorted out soon.

Thank you for your help

Hi Lazybug I've removed the stand-by. I checked your account and you have enough points (1811) to have your text translated.
