I've heard that in Japanese to say "don't look" is "minai", and to say "now" is "hima". is it right? actually if it is, then those words, i tell you, are the SAME in Armenian, which sounds very strange to me...

As far as I know, in Japanese to say "don't look" is "mienai「見えない」" and to say "now" is "ima「今」".

I guess it could be a coincidence?

With so many languages and words around and so little phonemes, I think it's only "normal" to see these sort of similarities happen

It's like with the monkeys and the typewriters. Give an infinite amount of monkeys a typewriter and you'll have a Shakespeare novel.

Yes, in Japanese, "I don't look" is "minai見ない". "don't look" is "minai-de見ないで".
"mienai" means "can't see" or "can't look".
