A suggestion. When a poll is opened on a translation, remove that translation from "Translations to be evaluated" and put it in a new category just for polls.

Another suggestion. On the Translation page, change the wording on the sidebar to make clear what tasks are involved:

(member tasks)
Submit a text
Translate
Take a poll
...
(Expert tasks)
Manage polls
Evaluate translations
Evaluate rejections
Translate (Expert only)
...

Yet another suggestion, one I think I have made before. Have separate pages for Expert- and Admin-only tasks. This allows Experts (and Admins) to see pages exactly as regular members see them.

Interesting suggestions.
The last one would require that I re-write the whole site. All pages haev conditional displays if you are a regular member, an expert, an admin etc...

Yes, JP, I understand the problem that my last suggestion poses for you.

But consider what I see. The site grows more complex, and the longer I am an Expert the less idea I have what the site looks like to a non-Expert user, for two reasons. Reason one is the passage of time and my fading memory. Reason two is that, unless I create a second account for myself, I cannot be sure what new features are revealed to non-Experts. That makes it harder for me to help non-Experts learn the ropes, and I suspect it also interferes with the ability of Admins to help Experts ditto.

This gets back to the polls. Any Member can vote in a poll, but Experts probably should ignore polls to allow Members to vote, and only Experts can evaluate translations. So, separating out the polls helps both Members and Experts be more productive by sorting the work according to who can do it.

What about surrounding all "expert/admin only" displays by a red frame ? I had already started to write in red all admin features.
