Me voilà de retour en France, mais c'est difficile pour moi de pouvoir vous expliquer tout ce qui s'est passé,
Je suis encore sur un nuage, pas facile de parler de mon voyage en Italie, de tous ces merveilleux instants, dans mon cœur, tellement présents.
Pour partager ces doux moments et ces découvertes au cœur des mes racines, il m'est venu l'idée d'écrire ce livre photo, que j'ai intitulé « Savoir d'où l'on vient pour savoir où l'on va ». |

Sono tornato in Francia, ma è difficile per me spiegare tutto quello che è successo.
Sono ancora al settimo cielo, non è facile parlare del mio viaggio in Italia, di tutti questi momenti meravigliosi, nel mio cuore, così presenti.
Per condividere questi momenti dolci e queste scoperte nel cuore delle mie radici, mi è venuta l'idea di fare questo libro fotografico, che ho intitolato "Sapere da dove si viene per sapere dove si sta andando". |

Ci sono da fare solo delle piccole correzioni:
"non è facile da parlare del mio viaggio a Italia, tutti questi momenti meravigliosi nel mio cuore, così presente." > "non è facile (da  ) parlare del mio viaggio in Italia, di tutti questi momenti meravigliosi nel mio cuore, così present i"
Per quanto riguarda "dove si sta andando", penso che tu possa semplicemente scrivere "dove si va", ma è solamente una questione di stile.

I don't know about Italian, but into French, "sur un nuage" means you're feeling more than great, happy, while "dans les nuages/ in the clouds" means you're not feeling that well, rather dizzy/absent minded/not seing things accurately/in the fog.
I don't know Italian, but it seems to me "on" a cloud is different from "in the clouds".

Do they have the same meaning, Francky? Does the size of the cloud matter in French?

I think the English expression "being on cloud nine" perfectly matches the meaning of the French "être sur un [petit] nuage", size doesn't matter IMO, as "petit" is just here to express it is some kind of personal cloud, and also maybe "petit" is said in an affectionate way, a cute small cloud that would be used by a single person, the one who was/is/is going to be lucky (eg : what's said at the link you posted "She's been on cloud nine since she was offered this new job".
So I think "être sur un nuage" and "être sur un petit nuage" have exactly the same meaning, talking about the feelings and state of mind of the one who's on this "cloud". | | |

Lilian, "to be on cloud nine" può essere tradotto in Italiano sia con "toccare il cielo con un dito" sia con "essere al settimo cielo".
Io suggerisco la seconda espressione, mi sembra migliore in questo contesto.
Quindi:
"Sono ancora su una nuvola" > "Sono ancora al settimo cielo"
Sei d'accordo?
