ملاحظات حول الترجمة
Please translate the sentences for me.
I've got a friend on MSN which sometimes talks to me in Arabic but I can't read Arabic.
But I really need to know what he's saying/meaning with this sentences.
By the way; he is Syrian.

Hi C.K,

What do you mean by:
"I feel that I'm delinquent with you"?

I feel like a delinquent? I feel I've acted like a delinquent with you? or anything else?

Hi Lilian,

It's one who is guilty of an offense, for example: when a mother says to her son after he become an adult -> sorry my son, I should of done better than this I know I'm delinquent with you, I'm sorry.

I hope that helps

C.K.

The point that there are no other translations to مقصر apart from delinquent!

Yeah, well, since this is a "meaning only" translation, I think we should pass the meaning on, not the exact word which would not sound well in English.

Neglectful is much weaker than the delinquent thing but good enough for meaning only I guess.

The second sentence is I've really missed you. 'gemist' is past tense

Hi Lein,
I think neglectful is not the correct word as it means " verwaarlozing " in Dutch, also, I translated it from Arabic into English and there are no other translations to مقصر apart from delinquent. And neglectful which is verwaarlozing in Dutch means إهمال not مقصر!!

So, I don't know what exactly should be refined but to translate from the Arabic one into English, the word should be delinquent.
