For you people, who like to follow "the Osprey drama" this season. They are back in Scotland now and the Webbcam is running from today.

Looking now ...it's dark but I saw her today (EJ, the female) building on her nest.

Do you know if it's the same bird that returns every year?

They say it is the same one, Pia, but it isn't marked so we don't know

Any hatched chickens yet? I had a look, but couldn't see anything. There are 2 Osprey chicks now in the Scottish nest, 3 resp. 1 day old ... tiny, tiny.

There are 2 chickens and one egg, take a look and you will see them

Lovely!! It's just the same as in the nest I follow, one more egg to be hatched. I had another look, but I can't see them ... the cam. update SO often/quick this year, so there's no chance for me to discover them. Can't remember it was that fast (every 5 sec.) last year.

Ernst!! I've totaly forgot to check this nest .. how are the "chickens" doing?

Andreea, you once told me that you seldom got snow there. I just checked the webcam, it looks very snowy today!!

Hi Pias, yes, indeed, it snowed yesterday. Today in the morning started already to melt, now rains cats and dogs. On the top of the mountains there is still snow, though. But here, in Torshavn there are only a few days a winter when we see it.
