Hej Lilian!

Det här ser bra ut, fast jag tycker att det blivit ännu lite prydligare av om man lagt till ett "att" innan "ta ett tag".

Alltså:
...men det kommer fortfarande att ta ett tag.

I would translate "que aproveitou bem" to "that you have enjoyed" (in Danish: at du har nydt).

In English we'd use simple past since it's understood that the vacation is over and we are talking about a definite past. Is it different in Swedish?

I'm not 100% sure about the Swedish but in Danish it would definitely have to be "har nydt"

Hi Lilian and Anita!

"Det är bra att du haft din semester" is exactly the same as "Det är bra att du HAR haft din semester" in Swedish, it is just a bit less formal and more like spoken language to skip "har", t.e. it is a spoken/simplified variant of the same grammatical construction. (I think Swedish simple past would be "Det är bra att du hade semester" - it of course depends on context, but I at least don't think that would have been a good translation in this case).

So, consclusion: If you translate "...that you have enjoyed..." into Swedish it becomes "...att du (har) haft..." t.e. exactly how lilian translated it!

However, it you want, lilian, you could add a "har", to make this written text a bit less informal, but that is not necessary.

Thanks for the explanation, Piagabriella.
Actually, I'd keep the translation the way it is, if you both agree.

I hope I understood Anitas point right, but if I did, then I think that there is acctually no problem and you can keep it (if everything else in it is fine - I don't understand Brasilian portugese, but when I look at the Swedish language then it is).
It seems to me that this was just a small misunderstanding since you skipped writing "har", lilian...

Am I wrong?

doesn't "Det är bra att du haft din semester." just mean: It's great that you have had your holidays?

The Portuguese version says: It's great that you enjoyed your holidays.
