Up till now, I was the only native British English speaker on the team, we are rare specimens you and I. My name is Ruth.
I can translate from Italian, but not into it yet. Italian is similar to French, at least for we Anglo-Saxons partly because they are both much more strongly influenced by Latin vocabulary and also because of the grammatical structure of the two languages (gender, syntax...).
I hope you will no only enjoy translating on cucumis but will also have fun in the forums. There are tons and tons of different subjects (I even posted one about Yorkshire Pud!!)
