Special characters

Would it be possible to have special characters on the screen, when you write a translation or a message? I have an Italian keyboard and it's a problem for me. When I have to write in Russian, but also some characters in French, German and Spanish, I must go to Word, write there, copy and paste. It takes a lot of time and patience!
