I am a native speaker of (American) English who has taken a few college courses in German and Spanish, and spent some time in Germany and Latin America. In both German and Spanish, my working vocabulary contains mostly scientific and medical terms, where the challenge is more precision than nuance. I am not so good at colloquial expressions.
