Source code - Technical side

I've been involved with a different volunteer translation project. It's aimed at a different audience. But we have a big problem: the codebase is a bit outdated, the interface is too confusing, several options are not needed, others are, so we wanted to restart from scratch.

But this project looks like it contains already 80-90% of what we are looking for. Therefore i ask if it is possible to share the source of this project and with which license if it is done.

It is meant like stated above, for a volunteer only project. Certain things will be adapted, like the possibility of anonymous posting and translating (people still die around the globe for their (political) texts).

If it already is open, please point me to it, if it isn't and there are certain conditions, please explain them. Thanks a lot

My problem about releasing the sources, is that a website using them to build a website closed to cucumis.org, is a direct challenger We don't need challengers

Cucumis sources are not available.
Maybe I would release the sources one day to get help on the developement but for now there is to many things to do. The projects documentation ius closed to 0. Maybe one day, when it's more stable...
