I'm looking for someone able to correct and add suggestions to this lettre I've been translating from french to english.
I'm really not sure about a bunch of lexical terms and sentences...
Here is the letter. If you need the french one let me know, I can add it then.
I'll be waiting for your advice! Thanks a lot.
Hi,
I'm contacting you in order to introduce to you one of our artistic projects, created in april 2009 at Culture Commune, Bassin Minier's National Scene - in Pas de Calais. This project's named (Dukcne). It's about a poem, a concert, a liveshow, a tribute to today's errants. This show unites Thomas Suel (author, slammer and poet), Jérémie Ternoy (pianist) and Christian Pruvost (trumpettist), the whole thing directed by Christophe Moyer, light supervised by Claire Lorthioir and sound supervised by Alexandre Noclain.
The show gave plave in December 2009 to its book-album publishing, available on request, (Agitée publisher/publishing house?) but of which I attached a few excerpts inside the diffusion report/broadcast report, as well as a copy of the album. We have as well a video caption of the show realised at its premiere.
Two possibilities are conceivable. One of them is more theatrical, in which the scenic/stage design, the set direction and the lights are at party with the sound score, technically heavier. The other, in which sounds and words are enough, is more adapted to places that are less equiped and/or pertaining to the "musical" area/field, and in particular to some music said as "unclassifiable". Indeed Jérémie Ternoy and Christian Pruvost belong to Lillois' jazz and experimental improvised music networks, and most of the time they produce themselves in the frame of formations pertaining to/belonging to this field.
We would like to know your first feelings on this creation work, and why not on the idea/project of a programming within your structure next year. You'll find attached the live dates as well. Do not hesitate to contact us for any other precisions/inquiery (images, captations).
I look forward to hearing from you./Yours faithfully.
(I put "/" each time I had difficulty to chose the appropriate term). |
