Hello.

1.
If somebody can help me understand:
as a member, I am asked to help with other translations. That is fine, every time I was asked for help in this respect, I would receive an email where it would say that I am asked for help. Now, for some reason, I do not receive that message anymore, and now I have to sign in, then check in ”Translation”. Only then I can see if there are any texts for me to check or not. Why is that? I have not undertaken any changes in my account, profile, etc.

Hi Tzicu-Sem, I will reply as it's not confidential and it might be itneresting for others.

Actually, the systems doesn't notify ALL translators.

When a request is submitted, the system looks into its list of registered memebers, who wants to receive an email for the source and target languages.

If there are more than 50 translators, the system will select only 50 of them (the 50 members who haev visited cucumis the more recently).
IT's quite dangerous to notify 1000 memebers if tehre si only one request to do. Most of the translators will arrive too late and tehre will be nothing to translate.

In your case, you regsitered to "All languages" to "All languages". Youa re supposed to be notified on every new requested. I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be notified anymore. Unless the email arrives in your spam/junk folder ? Do you receive other cucumis emails ? I didn't chagne anything on the notification system in the past months so I don't think it's a new bug neither.
Let me know
