Forum pages interface

Rather than the name of the users who contribute the first and last post in a topic, I would like to see the dates of the first and last post. That would help me determine if there have been new posts since the last time I read the topic.

I agree with the last, and old, and first, message of this topic.

And I wonder if it would be possible to mark the titles on the starting page of the forum, to know where are the new topics. I don't know, jp, if it's easy or difficult to implement, but I spend time clicking everywhere. Would it consume more or less server resources?
