No it isn't my picture, it's from a friend. It is from an island called "Suðuroy". It isn't from today, but it's how the weather looks like today. And now waterfalls don't "fall" down, they go up

I think he could win a price or something for that photo. This photo is also amazing, wow ...I've never seen waterfalls behave like that!

It must be very quick weather changes there, I know Andreea has told me, but just few days ago, when I looked at the web cam it realy looked like a winter landscape.

Come to Faroe Islands

There are around 25000 men living here and "only" 23000 women, so 2000 are "free"

Wow, I'll be able to chose, and don't be surprised, if you see me arrive one day. I miss the Northern cuntries and am , at the moment, thinking about leaving France. But a think you island is rude and a woman can't stay there without a man. Too hard. I have seen documentaries of the Færöese Islands and I really like it,!!!!But you know, I'm a bit crazy. Don't you think you'll stay there your whole life long!!!!!! If yes, why wouldn't I ba able too.

Sounds like a good sign of spring Bamsa!

I heard that the first Crane (Trana) has already been seen in the south of Sweden, about a week ago. Is it realy a year since this topic was "opened" (? !) ...time goes/run so quick, swish!

Gamine, there a lot of women living alone here, by the way. And they manage quite ok. Sometimes I have the feeling Faroese women don't need too much their men, some even act like men are a kind of "necessary bad", an accesory that gives them children and stability and that's it.

I feel sometimes like moving to Danmark or Sweeden, just to be "on the continent", to feel a little more of "civilization" and to be closer to home. It can be too isolated sometimes and Faroe Islands has certainly its disadvantages. But, in the end, it gets in your blood and one can become very adicted to the ocean.

Why am I grey, pias?

By the way, I saw oystercatchers earlier, in February... Faroese like to believe the birds come exactly that day. Maybe they are right and it was one who flew faster

Iepurica, thanks for your word.I'm quite sure there are a lot of women living of Ernst's island and I manage very well on my own, though I have a boyfriend , but we don't live together. But I'm not 20 any more, far from that, and in about 10 years it will be hard to manage on my own in an isolated place. Moreover, I would like to be in love, (not looking for it)the way you and Ernst seems to be!!!!!
Still a young woman inside and still not to bad outside and I would like to love, for true, once more. The ocean, well I'm used to it and funny enough, I would feel closer to home in the Færoese islands than I'm here. Don't know if you understand what I mean

So, why are you complaining about living there iepurica

I know my town will never be on a list like that, but that's less important as long as I like it here. I guess all places has it's own charm.

I think my comment above was a bit "stupid" Andreea, sorry!

I understand it can't be that easy living far away from home, family and friends, even if one like to live there. Everything has it's advantages and disadvantages.
