تحظى برامج المخيمات الصيفية باهتمام كبير في مجتمعنا الفلسطيني لاسيما في ظل الظروف الصعبة و القاسية التي يمر بها الأطفال و الطلائع في فلسطين ، التي تؤدي الى منعهم من ممارسة حقهم في التعليم و اللعب و الترفيه في أماكن آمنة؛ حتى أصبح الأطفال فئة منكشفة ؛ تفتقد إلى الأشخاص الرئيسيين و المؤسسات الفاعلة لرعايتهم و حمايتهم و و تنميتهم و الدفاع عنهم !
