Hi there!

Well, I´m a 18 years old language enthusiast, hopefully future professional interpreter and translator, momentally faithful Cucumaddicted and expert of Hungarian and Slovak here on Cucumis .

My native language is Hungarian, apart from that I´m studying English, Spanish, French, German, Russian, Japanese, Czech, Slovak and Portuguese. Recently, I could start studying Mandarin, so I´m extremely happy about it!!

Of course, this is not enough, so this list will probably get longer soon! I´m really interested in Cantonese as well as Greek, Italian, Catalan, Lithuanian, Swedish, Norwegian, Icelandic, Arabic, Korean or Indonesian....Oh, and many more!

I really enjoy getting to know other cultures and languages(!!) , but I also love staying indoors all day long and get lost in a good book...

About the Hungarian language


Hungarian is very unique and mysterious language. It is not related to any Indoeuropean language. It´s a relative of Finnish and Estonian, and it is an agglutinative language.

Where is it spoken? Firstly, in Hungary , and you can find many Hungarian speaking areas in the neighbouring countries like Slovakia, Serbia, Romania as well as in Germany, USA or Canada other corners of the world.
